Use your Incendiary Cannon to deal damage. Unlike the Sniper, do not try to get close. Still, he is a very powerful class, and should be treated as such. In most circumstances, however, you should be able to escape him. If possible, seek help from your teammates. The Heavy is a class you do not want to encounter alone. The Medic can also infect you with his Medkits, so watch out for those. Generally, you will find a Medic near his teammates, most often a Heavy or Soldier. He also has the Super Nailgun, which is much more powerful than the regular Nailgun. The Medic has both of his shotguns, the Single-Barrel Shotgun and the Double-Barrel Shotgun. Just like the Scout, the Medic is an easy target for a Pyro, assuming the Medic is alone. Luckily, the Pyro can use the Incendiary Cannon, as well as the Flamethrower to defend or attack. The Demolitions Man also has the Grenade Launcher that he can fire at you. For starters, the Demoman has Pipebombs that he can use to set traps. The Demoman is a particularly dangerous class for the Pyro. Use this as a last resort method, in case you run out of ammo for all of your other weapons. Try not to get close, as the Soldier's rockets do more damage up close. But beware, he could retaliate with his Rocket Launcher, or his Double-Barrel Shotgun. You could fire your Incendiary Cannon at him. Nonetheless, there are some very useful tactics for eliminating a Soldier. The Sniper is the most ineffective at his main role when up close to the enemy.ĭue to the Soldier's insanely large health pool, coming face-to-face with one can kill you, if the Soldier is experienced. If you encounter a Sniper, try to get as close as you can to him. The Sniper, with his extremely powerful Sniper Rifle and Automatic Rifle, can be very intimidating to a Pyro. The Sniper is another class that is generally easy to deal with, provided you stay out of his line of sight. And if you do spot a Scout roaming around, report his whereabouts and eliminate him as quickly as possible. He's also the class that can easily be killed by afterburn, so try to attack him with the Incendiary Cannon or block his path with napalm grenades, which will kill him, or at the very least, weaken him enough to be finished off by the rest of your team. Pyro was seen with Tavish Finnegan DeGroot at Dustbowl.Because the Scout is very weak with only 75 total health and 50 total light armor, a Pyro would kill him off easily. Pyro and two of their friends, Spy and Heavy, went cart racing with the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog at one point. Pyro later went to help destroy the Machine Replicas and some of the old Merceneries. Although Pyro and most of the other merceneries were captured after trying to find, one of their team mate's, Sniper's, real perants, by the Team Fortress Classic Merceneries. Pyro, somehow ending up as a CEO of a large repair company easily rejoined after seeing fire. Pauling later went to bring the merceneries back together after some one called Grey Mann took over the company they worked at. Pyro later ended up having a rivalry with another member of their team known under the field name Heavy, where Pyro would later win this rivalry. Dispite this, the other eight mercaneries continue to have them around for any type of help they can provide.Īfter the Gravel Wars were over, Pyro was fired from his job and then rehired to fight against Machine Replicas of both them and their team.
Although due to their unstable nature, Pyro became either feared or hated by the rest of the mercenaries. Pyro was one of nine mercenaries hired to fight in the Gravel Wars. 1.2 Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
